[ORAS OU] Wise Man's Glory (Balance) Empty [ORAS OU] Wise Man's Glory (Balance)

Hello friends, Sattire here, back again with another team today. It's gonna be a sand 'Balance' team featuring Mega Alakazam. Balance is probably the best playstyle in the metegame at the moment since it's good against all types playstyles (the reason why all the top level players bring balance almost everytime in their smog tour matches). Balance is not just going offensive turn 1 like HO or standard offense neither play defensively like stall. The key to balance is to wait and be patient, weakening your opponent's team little by little and find the right time to strike. It doesn't matter if you are down to 2,3 or 4 mons and the opponent is far ahead of you. Setting up the stage to strike on the right moment is the main key. Every chip damage counts, from stealth rock to little sand damage or rocky helmet. It might seem a bit hard on paper or initially to few, but after some battles it's quite easy to get the hang of it and see how reliable this playstyle is. So without further ado let's get into the team. :]

Strategies: Since Balance is different from offense or stall and few might not be familiar with the playstyle, I'll try to explain how the team works and how you can use it effectively. Like I said before, the key is to set up stage and find the right opportunity to strike. Team preview is very important regarding this. You need to find out what you need to weaken or get rid off on your opponent's team for the final blow. The fun part is anything on the team can be your win condition, it can be scarf ttar, sub cm keldeo, mega alakazam or any other member (depends on the opponent's team). You don't need a hard hitter to give the final blow. If you can weaken your opponent and set up the stage, even amoongus can give the final blow if its threats and checks are weakened or removed.

Team Members and Cores:

1. Mega Alakazam- The star of the show. Once your opponent/its threats are weakened there is no stopping to this monster. Not only it's a great late game sweeper, it can punch some serious holes in the opponent's team or can also be used as revenge killer too. It out speeds even the fastest threats in the OU tier. You think you can stop me with your sand rush or swift swim mons? Well I got trace to use your own strength against you to blow you away Lol.

2. Scarf Tyranitar- Mostly used to set up sand for excadrill/sand damage, revenge kill, pursuit trap lati twins, bird check, make ways for sub cm keldeo to set up and sweep.

3. Keldeo- Stall breaker, can start setting up on many mons and sweep or weaken opponent significantly, lures its checks like lati twins which can be traped by ttar etc.

4. Amoongus- Spore, clear smog, giga drain and hp fire with massive bulk and regenerator....don't think need to explain how annoying it really is to deal with lol.

5. Landorus-T- One of the best mons in the tier for its ability intimidate to stop physical hard hitters, set up rocks, hitting back hard with strong eq or keep the offensive momentum with u turn.

6. AV Ecadrill- Fairy checks, sand rush sweeper/revenge killer, hazard remover.

Have fun using the team. Hope you liked it :]

Ah an interesting take on a sash-ripping sand team, since a lot of players only believe Hyperoffense exists for it. Well done. +1 for the including my fav niche mons (scarf ttar, physical def amoon ) but I have to -1 for using mega ala over chomp just for this post's title Cool
